How long does a New York court have to give a final order of child support I’ve been on temporary order since May 1, 2023 ?

Q– Could they have lost the paperwork ?

A- It’s hard to say as it depends on the status of your case. Generally if a trial was held on the support issue, then the Magistrate presumptively has up to 60 days from the date summations & transcripts were submitted to him/her. Even so, that time-frame may be extended for a variety of reasons, most commonly court backlog.
